Privacy Policy

ModelMint is run by ModelMint LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect and why. The short version: the add-in works locally inside Excel and never sends your spreadsheet data anywhere, and we keep the rest to the minimum needed to sell and support the product.

Your workbooks stay yours. ModelMint does its work entirely on your computer, inside Excel. It does not upload, transmit, or collect the contents of your spreadsheets, and it contains no usage tracking or telemetry.

What we collect

Purchase information. When you subscribe, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your name, email, billing address/country, and card details to process the payment. We receive your email, billing country, and subscription status, but we never receive or store your full card number.
Support information. If you email us, we keep your message and email address so we can reply and keep a support history.
Basic website data. Our host may log standard request data (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. For aggregate visitor statistics we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first tool that uses no cookies and collects no personal data. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How we use it

To deliver ModelMint, process your subscription, and send receipts and important account notices.
To answer your questions and provide support.
To keep the service secure and to meet legal and tax obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers we need to operate, under their own privacy terms:

Stripe for payment processing and subscription billing.
Our email provider for receipts and support replies.
Our website host for serving the site and downloads.

We may also disclose information if required by law.

Data retention

We keep purchase and support records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, accounting, and tax requirements, then delete or anonymize them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email support@getmodelmint.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to keep what little we hold safe.

Children

ModelMint is a professional tool and is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we update this policy, we will change the date above and, for material changes, give notice on the site.
