Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of ModelMint, an Excel add-in provided by ModelMint LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company ("we", "us"). By subscribing to or using ModelMint, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use ModelMint.
1. License
While your subscription is active and in good standing, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use ModelMint for your own work or your organization's work. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, rent, or share the software, or attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent any licensing within it, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.
2. Subscriptions, billing, and renewal
- ModelMint is sold as a subscription: $10 per month or $89 per year (plus any applicable taxes).
- Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) at the then-current price, unless you cancel before the renewal date.
- You can cancel anytime; cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
3. Refunds
All payments are final and non-refundable, as described in our Refund Policy, which is part of these Terms.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use ModelMint unlawfully, to infringe others' rights, or to interfere with or compromise the software or our systems.
5. Intellectual property
ModelMint, its name, and its design are our property and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a license to use the software, not any ownership of it.
6. Your data
ModelMint runs locally in Excel and does not transmit your spreadsheet contents to us. Our handling of the limited account information we do collect is described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
ModelMint is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free or uninterrupted. ModelMint is a productivity tool, not a substitute for your own review of your models; you are responsible for verifying your work.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of ModelMint. Our total liability for any claim relating to ModelMint will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using ModelMint and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or fail to pay. On termination, your license ends.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms or the product. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will update the date above and give notice on the site. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New Mexico.
